About me

Ballet dancer, artist, yoga teacher. Dance and movement have been of paramount importance during my whole life.

I have been a student of yoga for the past over 20 years, having come to the practice in search of the therapeutic benefits my own body required as a professional dancer. During the course of my practice, I not only healed and gained agility; I cultivated a way of living and discovered a passion.

In my years of dancing I already had a vivid interest for kinesiology and anatomy and have been deepening my understanding of the mechanical functions of the body and the strong therapeutic potential of yoga prior to my first Yoga Teacher Training in 2008. Since then I’ve been teaching yoga in Geneva. Numerous trainings followed, anatomy and physiology being my primal interest.

I am an Ashtanga based certified teacher.  My teachers are Paul Dallaghan and Marc Darby, themselves students of Pattabhi Jois. I practice only 2 series and am utterly content with that.

And then, throughout the years our practice transforms, as one goes through stages, transformations, evolution.

Strala yoga has been also a regular companion, since my teachers training with the beautiful Tara Stiles. I love the movement and playfulness of her style, the dance like fluidity and grace.

As I get more experienced I increasingly get more drawn to the therapeutical aspects of Hatha yoga.
